Governor Jim Justice’s world-famous BabyDog has some new pals in West Virginia. In partnership with Communities in Schools, First Lady Cathy Justice has brought 28 therapy dogs into West Virginia’s schools. Friends with Paws is the only statewide therapy dog program in the United States, and it’s bringing love, compassion, friendship and fun to school children across the great state of West Virginia.
We recently had the honor of creating a video on the Friends with Paws program. The 28 therapy dogs are helping so many children overcome challenges in the classroom, and they’re making every student and teacher in these schools happier and more confident.
We commend First Lady Cathy Justice for her commitment to bringing this inspirational program to West Virginia’s schools.
