FP1 is pleased to announce that Andrew Quinn is joining our firm as a Managing Director. Previously, Quinn served as a senior advisor and the chief speechwriter to Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell. Earlier in his career, Quinn worked on public policy and communications at the American Enterprise Institute where he directed the office of Arthur Brooks, the former President of AEI. Andrew is a graduate of Williams College and lives in Maryland with his wife and children.

At FP1, Quinn will serve as a policy advisor, message strategist and the chief speechwriter to Senator Tim Scott’s presidential campaign. Quinn will also consult to FP1’s statewide and congressional candidates and be a part of our firm’s creative team.

“Andrew Quinn was a well-known talent on Capitol Hill, and we’re excited that he’s starting the next chapter of his career at FP1,” said Founding Partner Jon Downs. “Andrew is an excellent writer with a sharp political mind and a deep understanding of policy and political trends.”

“FP1 has a peerless reputation from big-picture creativity to concrete battle tactics,” Quinn said. “I am thrilled to join this all-star team and help our clients win the tough fights that shape our country.”

As Quinn departed Capitol Hill, Leader McConnell spoke on the Senate floor in praise of his “finely tuned instinct for political strategy” and “extraordinarily valuable” counsel.
