FP1 Congratulates Steven McNeel

By FP1 Strategies

FP1 was proud to serve as the media consultant to Senator-elect Steven McNeel’s campaign for State Senate in Georgia’s 18th District. On February 17, McNeel won with a decisive victory by nearly 19% in a runoff over Democrat LeMario Brown in the special election to replace State Sen. John Kennedy.

McNeel advanced to the February 17 runoff after finishing in second place in the January special election, 225 votes ahead of third place in a six-way race.

As our team was on the ground in December set to film ads for a May primary, the incumbent resigned and a special election was set for January 20. Our team sprang into action and pivoted to fit the condensed timeline, filming compelling advertising to help push McNeel over the finish line in a crowded field.

“Steven McNeel ran a values-first campaign dedicated to fighting for Middle Georgia,” said FP1 Partner Michael Young. “His faith and commitment to public service will serve the 18th District well in Atlanta. He’ll work tirelessly to lower taxes, help small businesses grow, and make Middle Georgia the best place to live, work, and raise a family.”

“Steven McNeel is a principled conservative who will bring the fight to Atlanta for the voters of Middle Georgia,” said FP1 Director Alex Foster. “Supporting agribusiness and farmers, backing the blue, and creating good-paying jobs for hardworking Georgians – these are the values Steven will fight for. We’re proud to have helped craft this winning message.”
