Meet Our Production Pros
Isam Daho

By FP1 Strategies

In this edition of “Meet Our Production Pros,” we’re featuring the contributions of Isam Daho. Isam is one of our talented in-house motion graphics editors who has worked on a lot of high-profile campaigns at FP1. Isam is a great visual storyteller who works fast with an attention to detail that helps us deliver great ads for our clients.

Achiever was Isam’s top strength on his Clifton Strengths analysis. We see that trait every day as Isam works hard to meet client deadlines and churn out clutter-busting ads. This year, Isam took a leadership role in editing a high-profile series of spots for Americans for Prosperity to secure passage of President Trump’s One Big Beautiful Bill.

Watch some of Isam’s ads from AFP’s campaign:

“Isam is a great team member and a talented editor,” said Managing Director Nick Gay. “I love working with him. Isam is creative, hardworking and always willing to go the extra mile to deliver for our clients.”

“Having Isam on our team has really strengthened our in-house editing capabilities,” said Partner and Creative Director Trent Wisecup. “Isam’s work for AFP this year has been stellar. I’m glad he’s on our team.”

What’s your alma mater?

I have a BFA and an AFA from The Art Institute.

How did you get your start in motion graphics and editing?

I’ve always been drawn to animation, and over time, I’ve had the opportunity to develop my skills through various experiences that allowed me to refine my craft and build a strong foundation in motion graphics and editing. This path has enabled me to take on challenging projects and work with talented individuals, which has helped me grow and approach my work with both creativity and efficiency.

Are there any visual storytellers that inspire your work and approach?

I find inspiration in visual storytelling that emphasizes simplicity and clarity. I draw inspiration from everything I see. I admire when visuals are able to convey complex ideas or emotions with minimalistic yet effective design choices.

Whether it’s through strategic use of color, composition or pacing, I appreciate how great visual storytellers can guide the audience’s attention and create a lasting impression with just a few key elements. It’s something I try to carry into my own work, focusing on making each decision purposeful and impactful.

What do you like best about working at FP1?

What I appreciate most about working here is the opportunity to contribute to a team environment where collaboration and problem-solving are key. It’s always rewarding to be part of a process that aims for both growth and improvement. I also value the learning experiences I’ve gained, which have helped me expand my skill set and approach tasks with a broader perspective.

Do you have a favorite FP1 or PLUS ad?

One ad that really stood out to me was “Amanda” for HomeStretch. It told the story of a domestic abuse survivor. What I found so compelling about it was the way we used storytelling to shed light on such an important and often overlooked issue. We were able to share her story in a respectful manner, which allowed us to raise awareness, and also provide a voice to those whose stories are rarely heard. The way it combined empathy with strength was both moving and impactful, and it made me realize the power of storytelling in creating social change. It also reinforced how important it is to approach sensitive subjects with dignity and care.

How many tattoos do you have?

I honestly don’t have many — only four — but most are good-sized pieces.

What’s the last book you read?

The last book I read was The Four Agreements by Don Miguel Ruiz. It is a book that offers four principles for living a happier, more fulfilling life. It’s a pretty powerful framework for creating peace of mind and improving relationships.

What’s your favorite movie?

One of my favorite movies is Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. It’s such a unique mix of romance, science fiction and deep emotional exploration. The way the film uses visuals to reflect the mind and emotions is so creative, and it’s one of those movies that makes you think long after it’s over.

What’s your favorite thing to do on a Saturday?

I tend to spend Saturdays being productive, whether it’s working on tasks around the house or focusing on personal projects that keep me engaged. I like staying busy and making progress on different things, but I also make sure to take breaks and find some time to relax or get creative, so I’m ready for the week ahead.

If you could have dinner with one historical figure, who’d it be and why?

I’d probably choose Leonardo da Vinci. Not just because he was a genius, but because of his curiosity and how he blended so many disciplines; art, science, engineering. I’d love to hear his thoughts on how he saw the world and how he balanced so many different creative pursuits. Plus, I think it’d be fascinating to learn how he approached problem-solving and innovation long before modern technology was even a thing.
