Meet Our Production Pros
Jackie Kaiser

By FP1 Strategies

At the beginning of the 2022 cycle, FP1 entered the direct mail business. In this installment of “Meet Our Production Pros,” we’re showcasing Jackie Kaiser, the Managing Director, who runs our direct mail practice. Jackie has more than a decade of experience producing award-winning direct mail and her leadership has enabled us to broaden our service offerings and play a larger role in our candidates’ races.

At FP1, Jackie does everything from writing and overseeing the graphic design of mail pieces to coordinating with printers and ensuring that mail hits boxes on schedule and in-budget. She also runs our franking business. Jackie is a strong manager, a great writer and a smart creative person who knows how to deliver political messaging that moves votes.

In her two cycles at FP1, Jackie has helped secure several high-profile wins for our firm, producing mail for Americans for Prosperity, U.S. Senator Rand Paul, Congressman Dave Taylor and Congressman Eli Crane, among others.

“I’m thrilled that Jackie has made FP1 her home,” said Partner Annie Kelly Kuhle. “We wanted to scale up a direct mail practice for years, and Jackie was the perfect person for the job. She previously worked at several large direct mail firms and had the talent and expertise we were looking for. Jackie’s award-winning creative speaks for itself. In a short time, she has turned FP1 into an in-demand direct mail firm, complementing our other voter contact services and strengthening our bottom line.”

“Jackie knows how to deliver a punch in the mailbox,” said Partner Mike Young. “I worked closely with Jackie on Dave Taylor’s congressional campaign and can say without a doubt that we wouldn’t have won that race without her great mail pieces. Jackie knows how to boil down a candidate’s bio and narrative, and she understands how to knock someone out with a blistering negative piece. I’m glad she’s advancing her career at FP1. We’re excited to take our direct mail practice to the next level in the 2026 cycle.”

What do you like best about working at FP1?

One of the best things about working at FP1 is getting to collaborate with such a talented team. Everyone here brings a wealth of experience to the table, making it a place where you’re constantly learning and leveling up.

How many mail pieces have you delivered in your career?

Over 500 million.

How many creative awards have you won while at FP1?

What’s your favorite mail piece you’ve done for an FP1 client?

I have two favorites.

The first is an attack piece on Joe Biden about cancel culture, based on his removal of Dr. Seuss from the list of authors children should read. Example HERE.

Unfortunately, we created it for a pitch that never came to fruition, but I always thought the visuals and copy stood out.

The second, which made it out the door, is a piece we did for Americans for Prosperity in support of Congresswoman Young Kim’s re-election this past year. Example HERE.

The coloring, font, and visual orientation of the piece really stand out compared to your typical run-of-the-mill political mail pieces.

What’s your favorite podcast?

I have several favs.

  • Pivot
  • The Stephen A. Smith Show

I just finished “The Anxious Generation” by Jonathan Haidt and am currently reading “Lorne: The Man Who Invented Saturday Night Live” by Susan Morrison.

It’s impossible to pick just one, so here are a few of my favorites:

  • My Cousin Vinny
  • All About Eve

  • Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves

What’s the best deep-dish pizza in Chicago?

The best deep-dish pizza does not exist. Everyone knows that deep-dish pizza is disgusting and that there’s nothing better than a slice — or a whole pizza — from Mama’s Too or Prince Street Pizza in NYC.

What’s your favorite thing to do on a Saturday?

Catch up on the trash TV I missed during the week.

If you could have dinner with one historical figure, who would it be and why?

Truman Capote. He seems like he’d be just a gossipy good time.
