Meet Our Production Pros
Lisa Stutzman

By FP1 Strategies

In this edition of “Meet Our Production Pros,” we’re featuring the contributions of Lisa Stutzman. Lisa is a Manager at FP1 where she works in a hybrid position for both our advertising and media buying departments.

On the proofing team, Lisa is the first set of eyes on almost every spot we produce to ensure there are no errors in our ads. Once the ad is approved, Lisa works with our media buying team to ship and traffic the spot to the appropriate broadcast and cable television stations. Her attention to detail and organizational skills are essential to our creative process.

“Lisa is a great contributor to FP1,” said Partner Stephen Szostak. “Her professionalism and diligence give me peace of mind that we’re going to traffic spots properly and execute our clients’ media buys with speed and precision. We’re fortunate to have Lisa on our team.”

“I echo Stephen’s kind words for Lisa,” said Partner and Creative Director Trent Wisecup. “The proofing responsibility is an important one at FP1. We have a zero-tolerance policy for mistakes and Lisa has taken her responsibilities seriously. She is a leader on our proofing team with several cycles of institutional memory. I depend on her for something important every day.”

What is your alma mater?

Bethel University in Mishawaka, Indiana. After undergrad, I attended the University of Akron for graduate school.

Ohio is known for a lot of famous things. What’s your favorite notable thing about your home state?

I love that Ohio is the birthplace of many important people and inventions. Aviation, Rock & Roll, Thomas Edison, seven U.S. presidents, many astronauts (including Neil Armstrong), Superman and the National Football League all originated in Ohio.

What do you like best about working at FP1?

My colleagues. We have excellent camaraderie within the production team, and I really appreciate that it extends to remote workers like me.

Do you have a favorite FP1 ad?

My favorite political ad is “Wizard.” I grew up watching Ozzie Smith do backflips on the field, and it was so cool to have him star in one of our spots. On the public affairs side, we’ve done great work advocating for Ukraine.

What’s your favorite podcast?

Good Hang with Amy Poehler. I’m a huge pop culture nerd and Saturday Night Live is one of my favorite shows, so Amy and her guests are always entertaining. New Heights with Jason & Travis Kelce is a close second.

What’s the last book you read?

To continue the SNL theme, I recently read A Very Punchable Face: A Memoir by Colin Jost.

What’s your favorite movie?

The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King. J.R.R. Tolkien is one of history’s greatest storytellers, and Peter Jackson did a phenomenal job adapting the story into a cinematic masterpiece.

What’s your favorite thing to do on a Saturday?

My husband and I are homebodies, so our Saturdays are reserved for splitting a pot of coffee, listening to vinyl records and playing video games together. If we make outside plans, we like to attend Cleveland sports games or go to a concert.

If you could have dinner with one historical figure, who’d it be and why?

Eleanor Roosevelt. Her courage to stand up for what is right in the face of adversity is inspiring.
