Alexis is a managing director at FP1 Strategies. Her extensive experience in all facets of political strategy and campaign management has enabled her to provide high-quality political consulting to campaigns, PACs, independent expenditures, and state parties alike. She has handled everything from budget development and voter data analysis to financial compliance, field operations, direct mail, digital strategy and media planning.
A native New Mexican, Alexis has worked in politics or government at the local, state, and national level for over 20 years. Alexis is a graduate of the University of New Mexico, and she and her husband, Scott, reside in Albuquerque with their two young boys, Jude and Lucas.
- Served three cycles (2010, 2016, 2018), as a regional political director for the Republican National Committee, managing operations in 20 different states and supporting over 65 targeted US Senate, Congressional, and Gubernatorial campaigns during that time
- Served as New Mexico Governor Susana Martinez’s director of operations where she managed and directed the Governor’s schedule, as well as oversaw all Cabinet Directors, constituent services, boards and commissions, the Department of Transportation, the NM Children’s Cabinet, and all administrative staff
- Managed and directed the RNC’s Campaign Management College program in 2019 in preparation for the 2020 election cycle
- Continues to serve as a regular trainer at campaign management colleges and candidate trainings throughout the country
