Stephen Szostak is a partner at FP1 Strategies. Responsible for the firm’s media planning and placement operation, he leads a detailed and collaborative approach to developing and implementing targeted media buys across multiple mediums. Szostak has bought media in every market in the country for clients ranging from advocacy groups to presidential, gubernatorial, senate, and congressional candidates.
Szostak has over 15 years of media buying experience. Most recently he was Vice President & Account Director at a leading DC placement agency. In that role, he was one of the first to implement customized targeted ratings into a GOP statewide buy and his experience in that space has multiplied since. Szostak also has a unique understanding of TV/cable station operations as he worked in TV sales before beginning his buying career. This gives him a stronger understanding of rate cards, inventory, and adherence to FCC laws and regulations. Szostak is a graduate of Arizona State University.
